Hello!
I hope everyone is having a safe and enjoyable summer. MPH started the summer with two good weeks of horse showing at the Split Rock Show Jumping Tour in Lexington, Kentucky.
Amelie Schaeffer started her summer off with a bang! She was double Champion week 1 with Divide’s Freedom Spirit aka Spirit. They received Champion placings in the Short Stirrup Equitation and Short Stirrup Hunters. Week 2 they were Champion in the Short Stirrup Equitation Champion and then won their first ever Derby! Week 2, Liston Johnson and Don Bocelli aka Freddie also picked up a sixth place finish in the USHJA National Hunter Derby Regional Junior Championship. Liston had scores in the 80’s in both rounds. Marisol Hess and Everything Is Awesome aka Lego place eleventh in the class with MJ Maestas and Highmark aka Koko placing fourteenth.
Liston and Marisol both qualified for Junior Hunter Finals. The last week of June found us in tough competition in Traverse City, Michigan. Liston finished in the top 20 in the Classic Round while Marisol finished 24th overall in the Large, Younger 3’3” Junior Hunters.
Liston Johnson had a great start to her summer. Liston got two new partners to further her career. She purchased Kathmandu aka Kat to progress in the jumper ring. Royal Odyssey aka Odie will be shown in the Equitation ring
Another young lady who had a nice start to her summer is Anamaria Garrido. She has a new partner, Climbus. Look for them to start their show career this fall!
Elva Van Rozenburg will take over the reins on Majorette for the summer.
We will be showing in Traverse City, Michigan in July. If you plan to show in Michigan and have not already informed us of what weeks you want to show please let us know asap.
We are closed Thursday, July 4 so our staff may enjoy the holiday. We reopen Friday, July 5.
