Hello!
Well, this is it! Wedding month! I will be unavailable from Thursday, May 16 until Tuesday, May 21. Please do not expect me to return calls, e-mails or texts on those days. We will be closed Saturday, May 18 so the staff can get ready for the wedding. We will have a shortened schedule on Sunday, May 19 so the girls can enjoy the wedding.
Here are some of the fun wedding facts:
On Friday, Ryan’s aunts will host a Bridal Luncheon at the Briar Club. Later on the same day, Ryan’s parents will host a Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party at the Coronado Club. On Saturday, Emma and Ryan will say “I do” at Saint Anne’s Church on Westheimer. The reception will be at Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park. During the Cocktail Hour, guests will listen to Divisi Strings. Nightowls will provide the music at the reception. Food will be provided by Churrasco’s. Emma’s gown, which was purchased at Casa de Novia, is designed by Romona Keveza. Her veil is by Monique Ihuillier, shoes are Jimmy Choo. They will honeymoon in St Lucia. My dress was purchased at Elizabeth Anthony and is by Catherine Regehr, shoes by Valentino.
Thank you everyone for all the well wishes! Look for pictures!
A warm welcome to Bowen McKinney. She is half leasing Lillie.
Another new face to welcome to MPH is Lake Francis. She will be half leasing Harley.
May is a big Birthday month! Starting with Al and finishing with Lauren Harrison. Sandwiched between them is Sloane Wallace, Reese Johnson, Amber Tribble, Margot Evans, and Lake Francis. Fun Fact: Reese will turn 13 on May 13!
Not only is Margot having a birthday month, she is also celebrating adding Johnny Cash aka Juan to her string of ponies.
Marisol Hess is having a spring fling with Intro Van Het Capelleveld aka Iko. Look for them in the equitation ring.

We return to Katy in May for the GSEC Round Up and Fiesta Classic.
If you have not yet told us of your intention to show in Kentucky or Michigan you need to do so ASAP.
We will have two weeks of Pony Camp. Week 1 will be May 28 to 31. Week 2 will be June 18 to 21. You do not have to be on a pony. We will adjust lessons to appropriate ages. Camp starts at 7:45 am. Pick up is at noon. You can do the week for $200. You can also do the camp for $75 per day. Send us an e-mail to let us know what days you will be attending.
Please let us know your summer plans so we can adjust our schedule accordingly.
Summer Hours will tentatively begin Tuesday, June 4.
Monday: Closed
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8 to 12 noon, 5 to 7 pm.

And finally, thank you to everyone who reached out with pictures and remembrances of Frank. Frank was a very special part of MPH for the last 16 years. To say we will miss him doesn’t come close to describing the void he has left.
Happy Memorial Day!
