September 2024 Newsletter

Welcome back! Hopefully everyone is settling back in the school year routine. Thank you for bearing with us as we juggled new school schedules and the heat! We will keep you updated as to when we switch to school hours. Just a reminder that we make up the weekend schedule on Tuesday. If you have a specific time you must ride on Saturday or Sunday, please let us know by Tuesday of that week. We will do our best to accommodate you.

We continued showing in Traverse City, Michigan for the first two weeks of August. Here are some highlights.

Horse Show Facts:

As we start our fall horse show season we thought it would be a good time to throw some horse show knowledge your way!

There are three divisions within our horseshow world. They are Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation. The hunter division is judged on the horses style and way of going. Jumpers are judged on who can go the fastest without knocking a jump down. Equitation is Judged on a rider’s position and control.

Happy Labor Day!
